    Ange in or out?

All probably true. But BMJ was the trailblazer. He took us to within 1 point of Champions League football in 2006. He then finished 5th the following year. Imho he was a better manager than Ange.

    Ange in or out?

No I dont. Ramos got us playing very well against teams who were, on paper, superior to us. In particular, 5-1 vs Arsenal, 2-1 vs Chelsea in the final, leading the peak United until almost the last kick of the game. We attacked AND defended well in many games. Sure it went wrong in the end...

    Ange in or out?

The post would be good and get a "like" from me if Ange wasn't lumped in with the other managers. Ange is the outlier. For me, legitimately there are only 2 things which the board can be blamed for in respect of Ange - 1) appointing him in the first place given his experience; seems to me that...

    *** Tottenham Hotspur v Nottingham Forest ***

No doubt people will be buoyed by our second half performance. But we need to remember that Forest ceded possession which meant we created a lot of chances. I don't think our press was particularly good or we had brilliant build up play. We just had a lot of the ball.

I thought they defended well in spite of the pressure. They gave up possession knowing that they can defend well and we are not clinical.

It's great way to conserve energy levels. I always felt if they needed more they would have gone for it.

I do like Callum Hudson Adoi. Chelsea were stupid to let him go. But not a surprise really.

And if we could defend properly we would have got more. Same story every game.

    He's a big lad too.

Danso is a better defender than VDV IMHO. Certainly when the ball is in the air.

I was happy about his appointment, at the time thought he had done well at Wolves. Again it's up to the Board to support their man, if they really believed in him. They didn't really want him so got rid. His position would not be untenable a dozen games into the season.

Sorry mate I'm not sure I agree. We leak goals and lack a clinical finish up front. We are creating chances through two wingers playing well and putting in some useful balls into the box . I am not seeing good build up play apart from that.

*Sigh* it's not the fans who decide who should be appointed and who is sacked. The board decided. I can't confirm about the list of managers but at the first sign of things going wrong with Nuno the board did not support him. So the list theory is perfectly plausible. The sacking of Nuno is on...

But not surprising. Ange is done as far as I'm concerned.

Contingency planning : When Ange is sacked, who should replace him?

True. But at that time Arsenal were not great.

    Pushing Up The Daisies

I know you have briefly written about bad experiences you suffered as a child growing up at the hands of a Catholic institution. Some terrible things have come from Catholicism, like all big organisations, sadly it has not been immune. I am so sorry for those who have suffered in the name of...

    James Maddison

Contingency planning : When Ange is sacked, who should replace him?

That Squad included Modric, Bale, Adebayor VDV, Lennon, Defoe with Ledley as CB. Best one in recent times imho, should have won something or at least come close. That it didn’t really compete for major trophies, for me meant he did a very good job rather than a great one.

    James Maddison

I love Madders. Hope he’s fine. Horrible challenge by the goalie, thankfully though the force may have been mitigated by the fact his torso hit him rather than the boot as in the Mateta collision.
