*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur FC v Manchester United ***

Anyway we didn't lose.
I know nobody enjoys them. But I hate conceding late goals......
2Min away of having a proper big grin and watching MOTD again

That’s just a pathetic last 5 minutes against 10 men. Embarrassing, unprofessional, brick.

Worked so hard to get in front and probably deservedly so on the balance of play, then to let it go like that…. Speechless.

Corners are a coin toss, I’m more frustrated we gave the corner away versus 10. There was lots of hoofing after we scored, little controlled possession. They had nothing to lose so piled forward.

Overall though, almost a very good vindication of Frank’s system. We limited them, we got goals with quality, and I think we were in the ascendancy when we went ahead. It felt like the team had figured something out. Like the drilled pass at pace into the forward line, not some plodding slow thing, it felt like we were drilling it, it was sticking, and that’s what we need in this system to turn the other team.

Shout out Tel and Odobert. Tel with a real moment of quality in a tight area. Odobert was a real threat and is playing with confidence.

2 weeks off now for the brains trust (Thomas Frank, Matt Wells and Justin Cochrane) to think about why we look better with a left footer on the left, and to ponder whether Richie and Johnson contribute to the actual match.

No surprise we look better with actual footballers.

Shambolic to lose a goal in the last 10 seconds, but not at all unexpected.

We played the last few minutes so poorly, absolutely no brains. We should have had a series of hamstrings and cramps and falling over and slow set pieces and wound down the clock.

Instead we go back to Vic and he slams it up the pitch, leading to their corner.

I actually think Franks system is one that will work for us, and will be a good watch, I just think to get there we need to replace a few key players.

Funnily enough, when we actually went forwards and controlled the ball and did the right thing and worried MNU, the crowd were roaring and cheering and we scored and the crowd went wild.

In the first half the crowd are quiet and moany because we play quiet and moany and any time the ball went towards Richie we lost it again and again and again.

Some of the coaches are off to international duty now
