CB was definitely pressing, look how light we were last season with a couple of injuries. Davies is a year older and Dragusin is out for a while.
If romero is staying we have romero, vdv, danso, dragusin, vuskovic, gray, davies.

I agree imo we have enough competition for CB , what we really need IMO is a defensive midfield player who will help our CBs not be as open as we have been. Bigger priortys then chasing more CB players.
And a lb.
Gray will be back in midfield, Dragusin is injured and not clear if Vuskovic will be in the first team or not. Davies may also need to cover LB.
Additionally Danso is actually a good player who's served us well and I believe counts as association trained.

Who is also injured and totally unproven at this level.
How will players ever prove themselves at this level if you never play them at this level?

He was always bought as someone with potential and I'm sure he'll get a few games. So are you saying you wouldn't have bought Danso and would be happy going into the new season with Davies as the only fit CB with PL experience?

No, i've got nothing wrong with the signing of danso. Mentioned him in the post of players we have.
