Agreed. He also drives the team on. He should be starting imho.

    Fair enough.

The injury situation under Ange was unprecedented, it wasn't unreasonable at the time for people to suggest, based on the intensity of his style and commentary from people who had worked with Ange, that he would have contributed to it. You cannot not discuss something because it might hurt...

Several posters called it as an ACL injury before it was confirmed (not me, I don't have a clue). There may well be physios, medics or simply people on here who have suffered a similar injury themselves and recognised the signs. Dismissing a valid view can be as damaging as accepting a false one.

I remember we had quite a few injuries in Poch's last full season in 2019. That lead to the infamous midfield of Winks and Sissoko

Lots will suggest ways to put it right. Whether their "solutions" are correct is another matter.

The main question for me is, are Spurs an outlier in terms of injuries compared to our peers? And if we are, why? It certainly feels that way over the last 2 seasons.

Really interesting topic. Plus I imagine, worth a fortune if you can peddle a solution.

Multibillion pound companies often employ outside help to look at a situation they can't resolve. Usually they employ management consultants but fans on football forums might have a magic answer :grinning:

Forums would be boring if we all stuck closely to what we know for sure. How much weight you give an opinion is up to the person reading the post. But to complain about it seems pointless to me.

Agreed. There are some circumstances that a manager can cause the issues e.g. Rushing players back, but every manager does that. I still wonder if there is something underlying at our club to have so many ACLs and injuries as a whole.

The we are staying up thread

They will probably win the EL to get into the CL.

Wham will likely drop points against the Goons. We just need to keep winning. Yes tall ask I know ..

Genuinely feel more confident with this guy in goal. I didn't get the criticism. When he first came in under Ange in Jan 2025 I thought he looked very good. I hope he establishes himself as first choice.
