    Frankly we aren't Liverpool's rivals ATM. Maybe if things go to plan we will be in a couple of seasons, but not now, and if that £50m gets them e.g. Isak it will be worth it for them. Not sure we need Elliott though, unless we are planning on selling a lot of midfielders.

    I understand them protecting their interests but the whole thing is very small-time and not a good look for future signings. And the Levy comparison is moot because he would never have accepted such a low release clause in the first place. I wouldn't be surprised if the low-ish release clause...

    Really don't think Sarr is a DM. His main asset defensively is being able to intercept and launch counter attacks but he does that best when he can push up into a higher position. He's also such a strong runner with the ball, which would be wasted playing deeper, and he doesn't really seem to...
