***OMT - Tottenham Hotspur v West Ham***

Nonsense. Llorente was pulled back jumping for a header, dele punched by Adrian going up for a header, and One of our players (can't remember who) manhandled in the box when surrounded by 3 players. The best teams win because of lucky decisions. Watch the old United games under Ferguson and you'll see several occasions where favourable decisions turned games in his favour.

Kane. Those three West Ham players all had their hands on him too. I could not believe that he didn't go down.

What we miss is someone who just gets the ball and really gets at the opponents. We didn’t have that tonight. That’s what Bale offered us, in addition to his crazy goals

Lamela is probably our best player at getting through a crowd but he is a little short of his best at the moment

Same here. Then he tried to shoot from a tight angle and was never going to score. The referee should have identified the foul. It shouldn’t take a player going down for a foul to be awarded.

are we playing chelsea/united at home twice this season?

Eh..Chelsea United ? These teams are getting the best of us at home.
It doesn't,t happen the other way round although we did have some success at West Ham recently.
We need to get that mental strength back for the London derbies, if we ever had any! Especially at home.

you used the word rivals, there’s a million miles between us and west ham

That was sheeete

3 hours to get there and miss the first 5

Leave with 10 to go to get the last train back and miss Sons goal

What an awful day

GHod, I’m depressed enough having watched it on the box. Sorry it was such a crappy experience for you.

Just about made the 22:35 train from Waterloo and I was at Wembley until the final whistle.

You must have travelled out of Wembley by helicopter. :D

Absolutely. The ref not giving them encourages players to go down and exaggerate contact.

Haha. I ran. Which wasn’t easy with the crowds. If you saw someone running in a red coat, and Spurs bobble hat sans bobble, that was me!

That is the biggest cop out in football!
Blame the ref!
The last refuge of a beaten side' which it does feel like ATM!

Oh yeah, just like the one at OT that time.
But I see your point,we have to win the game not the ref. Mind you
A team must get disillusioned when decisions keep going against them. Ther were definite biased decisions in favour towards the so called big clubs..there's no doubt about that but I think refs are getting better, but they Are trying to be more fair recently although some may say that,s debatable.

We ran
Don’t know why though as there were no trains at Wembley when we got there, at Baker Street either
And the train at Kings Cross shut a minute early but luckily our mate was already on and they let us through

Annoying that they change their ways when we rock up at the top table, tonight’s game with mid 2000’s officiating would have yielded at least 5 pens for the home team

Ouch. Did you get back ok? It’s the trains that always worry me after game ends. So easy to miss and then how to get back home? Must have been easier for you to run or were people leaving early?

I feel that Poch feels when teams are going to sit back by playing two defensive midfielders the full backs can really push on and give us the extra width. The reality is that they normally have 2 opposition players in front of them. So they play it inside too much.

Dier does have a good pass on him, but normally into space not intracate. Feel him and Winks would have been a better double act for sure. Someone to try to thread some passes through.

I know its down to us to break down the opposition. But teams playing 11 in their own half is becoming very popular. Its not heroic to set up to play 11 in your own half, its not good defending. Its just swamping territory with numbers.

And yet we created the most chances. Score one early and it's done

We didn't have a problem getting the ball to the edge of the area quickly, the whole game was played there. The issue is finding a way through and I do not think that pace is the answer to that.

We could do with an explosive dribbler though, like Sterling at City. Very quick in the first couple of yards, so can make pace count in tight spaces.

And even against these park the bus teams, there are still chances to break in transition and pace always helps with that. We are pretty good at that anyway, but would be even better with a really fast attacker in the side. I think it's something Poch wants, but we've tried to get it with a couple of duds from Ligue 1 that haven't worked out.

I think we didn't get the rub of the green tonight, sometimes we do and will win this sort of game easily, sometimes we don't and it's a struggle.
