Son Heung-Min

So do you two think criticising Son is justified because of that chance he skied?
Given the frustration of losing to L’Arse in the manner we did and Son having two presentable chances that don’t even work the keeper is worthy of criticism. I know he scored a ton of (important) goals last season and some this, but I missed must have the memo saying Son couldn’t be criticized

Knee jerk fans make up a fair percentage of every club I guess. One minute he's a world beater the next minute he's dogsh!t.

He had one decent chance which I personally forgive him for based simply on the fact he'd just come of the bench on 75 mins for a clearly injured Kane/Alli. He's not Solskjar and found it hard having an impact away in a NLD with the clock ticking down (0-2 down).

We're not money-doped so whilst we can always hope for something special from the bench we can never expect it. If Son was that good he'd have been in the starting XI.

Or playing for one of them.

I feel sorry for Son because he is so easily dropped after an average performance and yet others like Dele and Eriksen are virtually always picked no matter how they perform.

Son is as much a match winner as they are. Beautiful goal last night

One thing everyone forgets with Sonny are the injury issues he had a while back (plantar fasciitis I believe) and whether that has an effect on how much he can play at a specific moment?

I thought he was our best player today
Totally agree. He looked very sharp and lively. Ran the game for long periods, and was involved all over the pitch. Looks like he's on his way to top form! Just hope more of our players are on the way too.

Son has to start against Stoke. He's our most in form player. Great finish last night & link up play. Seems to score every time that he starts.
