Not seen you on here for a good while @Mickey_WHU Other things occupying your thoughts season?

What’s your take on Bilic going and - more importantly - Moyes as his replacement? Will he be able to do enough to turn things around or are you doomed?
I felt for Bilic, he's had to put up with a lot of s*** over the last year or so, constantly being undermined by those at the top. There's no doubting that we couldn't continue with him in charge, and the problems we've seen this year have been there since the start of last season, with the fitness levels being a particular worry. The Moyes appointment was underwhelming to say the least, but not at all surprising they went through with the cheapest option. They love a loan deal with a view to a permanent, which is what they have essentially done here. The performance against Watford on Sunday ranks with one of the worst of the season, which is saying something. I know you can't judge him after one game in charge, but to not see any sort of reaction from the players is concerning. If there is one bonus to come from all this, it is that Gullivan/Brady's lies and false promises are finally being exposed for all to see.

West Ham Spokesperson said:
There is categorically no agreement in place that means West Ham United have to play Boxing Day fixtures away from home.

It its not uncommon for emergency services or other stakeholders to make requests to the Premier League to avoid certain fixture dates, however these requests will not always be granted by the Premier League and we fully expect to play at London Stadium on Boxing Day in future seasons.

So they do get to play at home occasionally, if the request is ignored.

So what they are saying effectively is they expect the local authorities to always request no Boxing Day fixture at the Olympic stadium. But there’s a chance that the request might be rejected, sometimes.
That sounds to me like the default position is no Boxing Day home game (which is what I had understood to be the case anyway).

I love watching this joke of a club continue to descend into farce and humiliation. Only West Ham could moan about their fixture scheduling clashing with the fudgein Argos sale.

Am I not mistaken that if the police say no game then there is no game - isn't that what's happening with the NYE game, Police are saying no and PL are trying to push back.

It wont be able more busy at Stratford on Boxing Day as it will tonight though, thats the stupid thing

The Daily Melee is constantly nuzzling Wench Brady's buttocks and run a(nother) sympathetic piece about the club with this choice quote from her:

David Sullivan and David Gold have given eight years of blood, sweat and tears to help West Ham escape a very perilous situation upon our arrival, make the club financially sustainable and realise an ambitious stadium move, all of which have come with great challenges and sacrifice.

To say nothing of the utmost charity from the public purse. If only those three had two brain cells to share between them.

Who the fork is she kidding? West Ham haven't escaped peril in the least. They just swing from one crisis to the next. Bottom three now and the chances of winning a match in the next month are slim - Leicester, @ Everton, @ManCity, Chelsea, @Arsenal, @Stoke, Saudi Sportswashing Machine, @Bournemouth. Then us.

They are likely to be propping up the league (shprawled beneath, shurely. ed) heading into January and all the talk will be on how long Moyes - or the next interim manager - can cling on. But it's nothing a decade of dockside derbies with Millwall won't cure.

In the gutter, looking up at the stars
