New Kit?

The "Elite" shirt is £90

I assume this is a typo.

have not got a shirt in years, wont be getting one of these - outrageous

Welcome to the world of Nike.

Tbf at least they are honest enough to differentiate between the shyte they sell to fans and the shirts the players actually wear and give you the opportunity to purchase the better quality shirt. But once you sign up with Nike (I could be wrong on this and am happy to be corrected if wrong) it would appear they takeover everything to do with the product range. Before Barca signed up with Nike you could get all manner of interesting T Shirts etc. from different manufacturers in their shop. Once Nike came in they slowly disappeared. Initially they were replaced by some Nike goods that again were different and interesting (and probably better quality if truth be told) but slowly over time the product range has shrunk and now if you don't want one of the limited Nike templated products you have trawl Google/ebay. Also if you start searching deeper into the online Barca shop you end up on the generic Nike site and are offered Inter/Roma/PSG/Monaco kit .

I'm hoping Danny Boy is too sharp to let this happen at Spurs, but we'll see.

Nice and simple. About time. Could have done without the blue on the side and that white stripe on the shorts, but still a good looking kit.

No. Their kit is a different colour.

So what's the difference between stadium and elite home shirts? I don't seem to ever actually wear the shirts, so won't be buying again this year. Unless our third kit is yellow, of course. :p

I still struggle to believe we live in a world where a football shirt cots £90 and a pair of shorts cost £55 - elite or fudging not!

It's obviously not worth anything close to what they're asking, but it's a source of income for the club.

A replica is basically a plastic bag, while the elite one is made of material that breathes and stays comfortable even when you're sweating like a pig.

It feels like they got this idea from the NFL. For a long time now the NFL has had fan shirts and Elite ones. But there is a massive difference. The Fan Shirts have iron on Numbers and names etc and a thinner fabric where as the more costly ones have cotton sewn on numbers and names and badges etc.

But these. I cannot see why anyone would need the Elite one. The Fan one is more than good enough.

I think its weird we have shorts that go for home and away. But at least I see in the shop we have the white ones for Europe.

If this set is the same as previous the elite ones are professional standard

The non elite ones are replicas and what 99.9% of fans wear
