Transfer speculation

Very difficult for all the clubs up north......and it's getting worse.
I think the Manchester clubs will also suffer to attract the top top players.

They are now having to pay a "up north" premium to the player.......

There was serious talk of northern clubs being based in London during the week

The builders will be licking thier lips at that, all those training grounds wont build themselves!
Train in the south a fly up for the games I guess

Is he any use?

Looking at the responses to that tweet it sounds like Dortmund would drive him to the airport.

And the Walker price goes up again.

Pool should be given a transfer ban.
Something I don't understand here is that it seems Liverpool are avoiding punishment for tapping up due to apologising and ending their interest in the player. Surely by apologising they are admitting the fact that they have tapped the player up and should actually be MORE likely to face punishment?

This should result in them having a proper transfer ban (not just youth level players) and also the suspended part of their sentence for youth transfers also becoming reality.

If the PL turn a blind eye to this one then it will only prove that the rules are not worth having in the first place.

Still not convinced VVD was going to pool, was only agent flushing out better bids in a willian style.
The fact that Liverpool have apologised tells you that they had spoken to the player without the permission of Southampton. It may be that VVD had no intention of actually joining Liverpool (although I serious doubt that would be the case) but there was certainly interest from Liverpool in the player.

Oh think pool were definitely interested but I think he/his agent was only using them to flush out Emirates Marketing Project.
