What a night that was!!!!!!!!!

It still the game that has given me the mixture of emotions i have not felt since. During the game i felt sick, happy, sad, i had gut ache all the way through, i was shaking like made and on the way home i actually threw up.

As you say what a night.

Was in the ground myself at 6pm,paid at the gate lol....or was it all ticket can't remember....one minute i was standing next to my mate 10 mins later it was rammed,standing in each other pockets...remember at the end of the game singing the Archibald song and thinking why the feck Burkinshaw was leaving,typical Spurs!!,caught the last train home literally by seconds at Paddington ,never ran so fast in my life,otherwise by stranded up in London for the night.

Its the best feeling winning something better than finishing 4th!!

1 When we beat Sheff Wed to ensure we won the league
2 When we beat Gornik for our first european game at home
3 When we beat Leeds in the last game of the season to avoid relegation

My 3 best nights at the Lane were:

All good games without a doubt, there have been many over the years that have been important so its hard for me to pick which ones were the best. However one that stands out to this day was the second last game of the season back when we were trying to get out of Div2, we were walking the Lge but run into a bad run of form by winning only one of our last 6 games( losing 3 of them).

In our second last game we were at home ( our last game at the Lane that season) against Hull, as i said we were on the point of blowing it and possiably losing out on promotion back to Div 1. We struggled during the game and we were begining to think it was going to be another game where we lost points, when our capt marvel Perryman got the goal that won us the game, talk about joy we all ended up rows down from our seats kissing and hugging everyone we could. We ended up going up in third place on goal difference from Brighton '( whose manager was Mullery).

I will never forget that game.
