OMT - ***Tottenham Hotspur vs Watford***

That guy who nominates players for MOTM on our Twitter is clueless. Tripper not nominated? How is that possible. I thought he was easily man of the match. Several quality crosses and passes. Very unlucky to only get one assist. In the final third, he is arguably better than Walker.
Trippier got the official MOTM award

How good was that? Worthy farewell with the lane. Sad leaving today. Chelsea rentboys, we're coming for you! :D

Well, it was an improvement over Watford away - we didn't concede this time. :p

All-round, an excellent performance after an iffy first ten or so minutes. Dele's magnificent curler set us on our way, and you could see that it visibly eased our approach play and our need to play it out hurriedly - after that it was just a controlled demolition. Could have been six. Special mentions go to Trippier, Dier and Toby, all of whom were brilliant - Son was good, although wasteful (could have had four, ended up with just the two - the Heung-Min Son story, basically), and everyone else was just on cruise control for most of the game.

68 points now. A win versus Bournemouth next week (not guaranteed by any means, but it's at home so we have a good chance) would bring us up to 71, surpassing last season's tally with six games still to go. I would be surprised if we didn't break our PL points record come the end of the season, and that will definitely be an achievement worth celebrating, irrespective of whatever other ambitions we may have.

That was just so sweet to watch. Watched had a go so fair play to them but the team is playing on such a level at the moment. Injuries and no problem.

It's such a joy to watch. Best Spurs team since the 87 side. That team was amazing and deserved more but broke up when Hoddle left.

These guys are young, and signed. I'd be more than happy now for us to save transfer money to make sure they earn the wages to keep them here for a long long time. Same with MoPo.

They all believe in each other. Play for each other and fight for each other.

I'd keep janssen. I believe he will get better. Sell Sissoko and maybe add 1 quality player. That's it. And keep going.

Its typical Tottenham isnt it. I cant remember in my lifetime us ever being this strong at home. Within 3 matches of an unbeaten season at WHL, and we knock the thing down...you couldnt write it

And once again. Well done lads, we can sit back and watch the weekend unfold. Hopefully at least one of the other Top 6 drop points this weekend, although tbh any dropping points is a bonus now

We are so, so bloody good now. That was a great game. Could easily have scored several more. A strong 4-0 win in the glorious sunshine at glorious WHL. - what could be better?

COYS!!!!

Watford decided to rest players today as they knew they were not going to win, teams don't want to play us.

As soon as the first goal went in they knew it was over.

Over to you City/pool/Utd/Arsenal/Chelsea
