Apple TV

I shudder to think how many people have HD equipment plugged into an HDTV using a lead that can't do HD.

Its a sony Bravia - LCD.

It has HDMI ports


EJG I take it a scart lead wont do then huh for HD stuff? My picture isnt too great at the moment even on HD channels

Ha! Same as most things really, you could get an expensive one for 20-40 quid or get a couple of cheaper ones and see how you go. Check out Amazon, get a good deal on there no doubt, I got 2 of their own brand cables a while back and both still work and the quality is good.

They are all the same, save yourself a fortune, don't get mugged and just buy a cheap one.

It's all digital 1s and 0s, not analogue, so pic and sound will always be the same.
 
Ok sorted - Ebay it is then.

Now for the mac to tv connector - where the fudge is the apple army
 
Bought the Apple TV. Brilliant. You an stream BBC iPlayer via AirPlay on my ipad. The iTunes library of TV, Films and Music is brilliant. Love Home Share as well. £99 well spent

What's the model numbers of your TV and Macs?

Not just the make (the actual model number)...e.g. I have Sony Bravia KDL 46 Z4500

Sony KDL40CX523 40 inch LCD TV with Freeview HD and erm the Mac is a macbook white one. Its three years old before the silver ones came out.

I am also wearing black Calvin Klein boxers lycra.

Its like emailing one of those guys from India.
