My issue isnt the elbow it's the ref getting away with plainly lying again...
He didn't see it... Yet was caught on camera looking at the "incident" and even spoke to his lino about it. He bottled a big decision as he knew it would be dealt with on Monday. It's weak and a sham IMO

I think that's all anyone is moaning about.
Thought we really could have done with him last night. Onomah and Carroll were a waste of space all evening and, if you include Winks and GKN as well, four of our front 6 weighted about 12 stone in total. He would have also given some more support to Janssen that Carroll and Onomah offered

I was virtually directly opposite the ref's position and about the same distance away. In real time, it was well nigh impossible to see exactly what happened, still less determine that an elbow had been used with intent. I don't blame the ref at all.

Agreed; i suspect Janssen would have had more support with Sissoko's pace in behind, plus their defenders would have had to make a decision whether to get tight on Janssen or watch out for Sissoko's runs in behind

It has been proved in the past that is very hard to judge what a ref is actually looking at. About the spoken word, well it is possible to read lips, but it´s silly to sudgest that somebody except from the ref and the linesman knows what they talked about.

He does most of or even all his work 10 feet either side of the halfway line. He does 'allow' Walker to overlap......which is useful.
I believe he was a little disorientated because he was caught out a little too far forward by at least 2 foot when his elbow was headbutted by Arter

Absolute rubbish. Leonardo swung his elbow hard and smashed it into the face of his opponent, very violently. Sissoko just brushed past him, no big swing.
