They are at home and absolutely on the ropes. We've been all over them all game, just can't get through all the defenders... they are tiring. We had chances, just need one to bounce in off someone's elbow.

Frustrating that Lloris let in such a massively soft freekick, you HAVE to cover the flight of the ball. Nobody will blame you if it is headed in, you HAVE to save that freekick.

same as last season, lacklustre, disjointed first game

I thought we played well last season :) Unlucky to lose that one. This, well missed Dembele. Many players don't look ready, and Everton defended well. Dele poor, only Toby, Walker, and Lamela looked good. And well played Vorm, made one key save at least coming on cold.

i agree but whats with him coming off so early? was he not fit; if so why was he starting, especially when vorm has been involved fully in pre season

fudge me, these lot are hitting the deck every chance they can get. Koeman was right about their fitness.

Unreal.

After a poor first half, I cant believe we havent won that match in the end. 2 amazing saves by their keeper.

Have to say we looked far better with Janssen on the pitch. 2nd half was chalk and cheese from the first

not a disaster but I'm far from happy with that performance, very lazy generally

Walker and Lamela were better than the rest, Vorm and Janssen improved on the players they replaced

it was nearer the Saudi Sportswashing Machine performance than last season's average sadly

Draw away at Everton first game of the season, 2/3 of the team having had a shortened preseason. Much improved second half should have been 2-4. Even though i would have loved a win a draw is not that bad a result.

Dele, said himself that he felt nowhere near match fit against Inter. Stands to reason that he is still off the pace.

Pooch, Kane, Dele and Ericksen not good enough today. Need another creative player in, to push the front four. Don't need to play with two defensive midfielders, awful.
