Pre Season 2016

Actually quite tinkleed off about Pritchard leaving. Feel the same way i did when THudd was sold (even though THudd was a first team regular)

If we can find someone who wants to pay £8m for him then happy days, i dont see it being anywhere near that amount myself.

#thfc I'm told there are about 10 Championship clubs interested in Alex Pritchard.

I'd have thought there might have been some interest from mid-table PL teams as well, although that would be based on his performance 2 seasons ago, so maybe he is too much of an unknown quantity.

Pre-season : How do our fans over there feel about the squad? Were there any expectations that more first-teamers would be involved?

Would much rather the Euros players had a proper rest, than were flown to all corners of the globe to play sunday league players on sunday league pitches.

Preseason is about the corporate sponsors, not the team.

So, with Pritchard, Bentaleb, Njie and Chadli all possible being sold or loaned out, we surely have to have at least one more attacking player in? I would prefer if that player was a known quantity with top level experience. We need a bit experience in the team.

Amazing that someone like Mason gets chances after chances but Pritchard is never afforded the same patience and opportunities.

Mason most definitely is a Poch pet

I feel sorry for the OZ fans who won't get a chance to see some of our better players, even if it's for 15 mins a game. Also during open training sessions/publicity events the fans will miss out.

Anyway the players are not getting a proper rest. They are back in training and will probably have daily double or triple sessions at the training ground whilst the rest are in Australia.

You wonder whether there's a lot of jumping of guns by journos speculating on who's to be sold based on that squad here: i mean Chadli on the tour...isn't he meant to be being sold? Also, is Yedlin REALLY going to play for us next season?

Or bigger roles for Onomah, Winks and Edwards than expected?

They are only a year or so apart in age. We've probably held on to Pritchard longer than we would normally a 23 year old with only 2 appearances.

Mason definitely seems a Poch favourite. But isn't that because he is high-energy, a good footballer and a strong dressing room presence? We know Pritchard is a good footballer, but does he have the work ethic and natural energy for our system?
