I don't know about you, but if I was in the Spurs side and was "rested" for arguably one of our biggest games, against a top European side at their super stadium, I would be just a little tinkled off. For that reason alone, I think Poch will go as full strength as possible.

Like the good old days (think back to Young Boys and Inter away). Incredibly we bounced back really well in both games!

Look it could be a real football lesson but one we really need to be ready for because hopefully this is the calibre of opposition that we would like to be mixing it with from here on out.
Exactly. We just know as Spurs fans that at full strength and on our day we could really plant our flag here and announce our arrival. (V.1)
Exactly. We just know as Spurs fans that we might not show up, with everyone - Eriksen in particularly - going MIA, which will be incredibly disappointing as we are clinging to the hope that under Poch this is a new Spurs. (V.2)

Is the first 30 mins when Dortmund try the most to hit teams?
Is their tactic to get a good lead before they tire later in the match?
Its not that so much, I'm just worried about our side being overawed and blown away early in front of a cacophony created by 80,000 germans. Like the examples Diego mentions. If we turn in a West Ham or Arsenal performance its going to get messy. If we are on our game who knows. I worry that whilst their attack can and will cause us problems, we might struggle to create and get hit on the break (often) whilst doing so. PEA chasing onto balls over the top? Don't fancy that much. Tuchel has already been highlighting our high defensive line. Hence, I'd play Walker for definite. For definite.

Our team tonight -

Lloris (c)
Trippier - Alderweireld - Wimmer - Davies
Mason - Carroll
Onomah - Eriksen - Son
Chadli

Our subs tonight -

Vorm
Carter-Vickers
Walker
Bentaleb
Dembele
Lamela
Kane

i get that Poch wants to rest Kane but would have played Dembele & Lamela ahead of Carroll & Onomah

Dortmund XI: Weidenfeller, Durm, Piszczek, Bender, Hummels, Schmelzer, Weigl, Castro, Mkhitaryan, Reus, Aubameyang
Subs: Bürki, Sahin, Ginter, Leitner, Ramos, Subotic, Kagawa

It has been 32 years since we won a trophy in Europe. It will be really amazing if we can go all the way to win the EL this season. But it won't be easy as we also need to concentrate on winning the league ! We don't have a good away record in Europe in recent years. Since beating AC Milan away in the CL in 2011, we have not beaten any strong teams away in Europe. All our away wins since then have been against shyte teams like Qarabag, Asteras and Limassol. So, it is going to be a very difficult match against Borussia Dortmund. A win will be a great result but a draw will be acceptable ! Surely, we need to get a respectable result so that it will boost our morale for the remaining of the season.

Funny how Bentaleb can't get a game these days. I hope it's because he's still getting back into top fitness after his injury as he has shown a lot of promise. If it's not for that reason I hope he has the mentality to improve and get back into contention.

In Poch i trust. Back 5 have played together for the last 2 months so no worry there. Mason has come back from injury and deserves a start. We will be fine.

It's a been a long time since he showed anything promising.

Very dissapointed.

That is a shocking lineup. The tie could be over by the end of tonight.

Unless this is a cunning plan whereby we get trounced tonight and hope to see them send a reserve team next Thursday for us to beat.
