Hope you're right (I'm a big fan of Djokovic). But he still has to overcome Wawrinka (likely semi-final opponent) and that's not exactly a walkover.
Wouldn't bet against Murray in the other half of the draw. Despite a potential semi-final with Federer, I still expect him to reach the final.

That was ridiculously good as well. Karlovic did a seriously good volley from pretty much off the floor yesterday as well that had to be seen to be believed.

I normally like colourful characters but if you're gonna try and be a bit different then you can't go into defensive mode in the post-match interviews and deny all the brick you just did in the match in front of everyone.
I don't mind that he had a mini-meltdown for a set (A younger Murray also had his fair share!) but don't then sit in the interview and get arsey when they ask you why you basically gave up for a set and try and say no he was just too good blah blah.
Tennis badly needs characters, but it doesn't need him being a dingdong

Absolutely. You can judge from watching it how much he was trying, but he definitely jacked it for at least one game where he strolled about and stuck a racket out. If he doesn't get fined I will be quite surprised.
I do agree tennis needs more characters.

Great final. You always had the feeling that Federer was hanging on, even after he won the 2nd set. The question is, can Djokovic get close to Federer's 19 grand slams? It seems inevitable that he will at least equal Nadal on 14, assuming Nadal does not win another of course.

Actually Federer only has 17 (only!)
Which means Djokovic needs another 8 to equal him (or 9 to overtake). On the one hand that seems like an impossible task. On the other hand, Djokovic is only 28 so he could have another 5 years at the top of his game. If he won 2 Majors per year, he'd overtake Federer's record (assuming he doesn't win any more).
I suspect that's beyond even Djokovic, but right now you wouldn't bet against him at any given tournament. He's won two already this year after all (and he's got to be the big favourite for the US Open in a month and a half). Either way, I'm going to enjoy watching him try!
