Harry Kane MBE

It's scary how much we rely his goals.
We would be last place on 25 points we you took all Kane's goals out.
When we were a one man team relying on Bale, we still would have been midtable without Bale's goals.

Now e would have a different striker playing who may not score as many but would certainly score some.

It's like saying take Costas goals from Chelsea and where would they be??? They would play someone else and still win as you start the game with 11 players

I still don't buy into the one man team stuff though. Who's to say that another striker wouldn't have secured us points to put us in say 10-11th? I see what you are getting at and we really do need to start getting other players on the score sheet.

I'd actually like to see how many points someone like Giroud has secured for the gooners or Hazard at Chelsea for comparison, if anyone has the time ofc.

Take away Austin from QPR and that last place is way out of our reach. ;)

Usually I'd be with you on this one.... But then I remember that the two other strikers in our squad are Adebayor and (even worse) Soldado!.... Hooray for Harry Kane saving us from relegation! ;)

So happy for him.
A great achievement.

Love how Jason Roberts used the classic "where would we be without his goals" argument though. It's like being a restaurant critic, ordering a steak then saying "The steak was amazing but what if they didn't have any steak?". The likelihood is the restaurant wouldn't advertise steak, and the chances are there'd be something else in place of it. Maybe the replacement meal wouldn't be as good but it's subjective as well as that we wouldn't know how good the steak was anyway. It's still not a valid criticism as it doesn't mean anything. It's possibly the dumbest argument to grace the earth but such a common one.

Lloris is a great goalkeeper but if he wasn't with us would we have conceded loads more? What if we did have him but he didn't have any hands, would he be as effective? Probably not. It's terrifying how people get paid to purvey such drivel.

Kane, Eriksen, Chadli, Lloris are all very important to us ... hard to call us a 1 man team.

I would say we would probably be mid-table without Kane's contributions ..

And as I said just above, what does that phrase even mean? If Muhammed Ali wasn't Muhammed Ali, would he have beaten Joe Frazier in thrilla in manilla? Because that would mean Ali wouldn't have been there at the time.

He is a class player much like Depay who we won't get now unfortunately
I wonder if we still have a slim chance. We were in for him in January for €20mil by all accounts so at least we are trying. I guess it largely depends on how much of a hard-on Utd have for him.

He is the next big thing. Reminds me of a cross between robben and van persie
