Soldado needs to score, he ain't useless but he has been a monumental bust so far, his all round game is OK, certainly no Better than ades and that's Ade this season... In fact stats say that he has been worse in every sense.... And we are talking about bad Ade here not the good Ade... Who maybe more likely to show his face if he only received half the support that bobby does at games.
 
Don't get me wrong I want bobby to suceed as much as I want all of our players to, its just the hypocrisy that gets me.

Dude, seriously, this is where it falls apart .. ****ing Ade? the guy could give a **** ..

then maybe, just maybe you could ask why one gets support and the other doesn't

Both are failing our club, one however is trying, the other is saying how much he's a Henry fanboy and you want to know why one gets support vs. the other.

Agreed. They've both not been good enough, but I'd sooooo much rather watch Soldado. His approach play is much better, and he really puts everything into each performance. If anything, he's trying too hard. You can tell how much it means to the team when he scores goals, whereas with Ade he's always about doing his individual salute celebration.

Actually he started our last PL game, and the PL prior to that. I could see the midweek game with neither him or Kane being given the full 90 a rest/rotation issue, hence I see his non starting today as "dropped"

Again the guy has failed, but not seeing how this is helping, if his non start is for Lamela's inclusion

Soldado seems to be playing his best football in a Spurs shirt under him and be getting better not worse, so Loch must be doing something right.

These are my feelings on him. He needs to get goals and that's clearly disappointing, but those that can't see what he brings to us when he does play do their argument no favours at all, even when he scores he gets criticized online, thankfully that mindset hasn't filtered through to those that go.
 
I find it annoying tat Poch drops him the game after scoring every time... Awful management in my opinion for what is blatantly a confidence player!

Personally i think currently Soldado has to play, I think his general linkup play is really good, and would support the three behind far far more than Kane

Thats Kane who has scored 14 times this season

Soldado "has to play?". He's been nowhere near good enough to warrant being an automatic starter for me.

Even stranger when Chadli got the assist for the opener, Lamela got the winner and both played well and we functioned fairly well as a team in a type of game we've struggled in this season.
 
I thought Kane looked a little fatigued yesterday. Mentally and physically all the games as a new player have to take their toll. Kane missed a couple of sitters. Yet Kane simply brings more to each game than Soldado. Kane's drive is the big difference. Kane pushes, Soldado waits. I think Soldado's key is his head. He needs to get that right, and then he might bang them in. Being in and out of the team can't help, but he has to be professional. Look at how many goals he has scored and when chances come be cold and find the net.

Its a long season and we're not yet out of any competitions so Soldado will be very important. We will need him firing.
