i rate him very highly. I bet you if he hadnt scored against Forest, he wouldn't have started against Arsenal. I am glad he did however.

Did you notice how Mason was a mainstay through pre season, but then got injured? It had nothing to do with that goal.
 
I'm not seeing the 'horrors' some are seeing here. Look fine to me, just short on confidence. Paulinho and Nobby specifically, but especially Paulinho, who is getting into great areas but seems afraid to go for it and instead ends up going backwards. It's a shame. We should be at least two up IMO.

Well apparently he impressed during in pre season and Poch has a reputation for bringing through youth players if they are good enough. I imagine he played against Forest because he was showing it in training.

I like stambouli Murmon. He recycles possession faster than Capoue, has score which Capoue never looks like doing. It's just that he seems to be too slow to operate as a defensive midfielder.

Mason didn't get a start off of a goal - he just happened to score on his return from injury

ive never had that impression on benji other then twenty mins of the second half when he was covering Davies' lack of defending against Usain Bolt
