they so desperately want to be a big club, its pretty sad really. And it was so quiet last night at the Etihad, it was more than Embarrassing. All i can say is good luck with your half full stadium goals of 2016.

FFP rules. Having a bigger stadium will be a helpful way to circumnavigate the new rules set in place

Brilliant

Absolute paranoia, bloody hell.

The truth is, there is a sense of apathy towards the Champions League. Our fans just prefer the Premier League over a competition which strongly favours a certain set of clubs which we will never be part of. From talking with other fans, it's a view that I share: I would prioritise the Premier League over the Champions League at the start of any season.

A number of fans feel wronged by the refereeing decisions which go against us in the competition too - and we have been unlucky in that regard to be honest. Yesterday we should have had another penalty, against Bayern we possibly could have had one just before Boateng smashed in a beauty. When we went out to Barca, fans were angered by contentious decisions. They feel it's corrupt, but its the kind of siege mentality which we have created for ourselves and is part of our problem, but that's way besides the point.

On the expansion thing: http://www.glory-glory.co.uk/showth...s-Thread?p=512930&highlight=expand#post512930

Their latest tweet is pretty decent too : )

Really do cringe whenever commentators, pundits or whoever look to question a player’s ability on the basis of not scoring in England yet, as if scoring here is the yardstick we measure a player's level of ability by.

I follow Galatasaray (not as much recently) and they're not really doing as well (since Terim left).

Muslera is an excellent keeper (Uruguay keeper) and Semih Kaya is highly rated.

Was surprised by the signing of Pandev whose note really played much since signing.

Burak was one of the forwards I thought we should look at but that boat has sailed.

I actually went to the Manchester United - Gala game many moons ago (3-3) and I imagine the Emirates will have some noise thanks to the Turkish diaspora (be they Besiktas, Fenerbahce, Trabzonspor fans).

Telles is also rated but not had a chance to see him play (I spend my footie viewing time watching the mighty Spurs)

Good goal to put Dortmund 1 up, Kagawa with delicate little chip pass over last man for Immobile to tuck away

Arsenal: Have picked up more red cards (5) in their last 7 CL games than they had in their previous 97 combined (4)
