Football Trivia Question of the Day

Yup, because the point was made that, on the form he showed for Mexico, his transfer fee would have been a lot higher, after the World Cup, than the fee Manchester United had paid for him.

He officially signed for Man Utd on 1st July (due to the window) but he definitely signed before hand and had it all agreed.

Lev Yashin?

Not Yashin, he was only capped I think 79 times. He's one of my all time favourite players, sadly he played long before I was born but he was one of, if not the first, sweeper keepers. Very active keeper who broke the trend of keepers being there simply to 'stop shots'. He would orchestrate the defence and would, like Lloris, come out to defend against opposition chances. For me, he's the best keeper of all time.
