For me it proves that the French league is not the place to shop at this moment.

I am willing to accept the decision of the transfer committee as they must see something. He will also get a clean slate too, for now that video never happened.

Which is why I am giving him the benefit of the doubt.. doesn't mean that video wasn't x-rated though.

The French players do worry me though.. I look at the spiral Saudi Sportswashing Machine went on after signing all them French players too. Not good.

Some of the best ever Premier League players are French.

It's at times like this that you have to make the choice (or not) to have faith in AVB that he knows how to use a player and how to set up a team to highlight a players strengths to make the unit work better as a whole.

I have faith.

I like his speed and agility and fits the system, but I would still swap him for someone like Courtois.

There is the odd decent player coming out of France.. like Cabaye, but it really is like throwing a dart at a pack of cards blind folded and then hope to hit an ace.

Even the current French crop are good. (Lloris, Kaboul, Schneiderlin, Sissoko, Sagna, Nasri, Koscielny, Giroud, Evra, Distin, Diaby, Clichy, Debuchy, Cabaye, ben Arfa) to name a few.
