Paulinho -José Paulo Bezerra Maciel Júnior

Baldy has dealt with numerous Brazilian transfers, I'm sure he is experienced enough in how to deal with 3rd Party ownerships.

I'm reading that there may be third party owner complications a la Damiao

http://www.sportsdirectnews.com/pre...transfer-news-paulinho-ownership-problems.php

As they work hard to finalise a transfer, mega-rich Ligue 1 side Monaco are believed to be ready to blow the Lilywhites out of the water with a no-questions-asked improved bid that would satisfy all parties involved.

lol, yeah of course they are. Let's write a story that seems fairly intelligent then right at the end, leave that pile of flimflam to go and spoil it all.

I wouldn't be surprised if Monaco were in for him. Growing profile, Brazil international, available for a big money move. Seems to fit their transfer profile.

Re: The Blue & Yellow ITK Bonanza Thread

@JBurtTelegraph Jason, when can we expect Levy to make some signings? Please don't say Aug 31st. #thfc

For the ones asking me if Paulinho to #THFC really done, it's only a journalist who works at Telegraph who hinted at it. Nothing in Brazil.

Spurs set to sign Brazil midfielder Paulinho after Corinthians agree to £17m deal

Tottenham have agreed a £17million deal to bring Brazilian midfielder Paulinho to White Hart Lane, his club Corinthians have confirmed.

The 24-year-old will be Andre Villas-Boas' first signing of the summer as he looks to mount a challenge on the top four of the Premier League once again.

Paulinho is ahead of £30m Emirates Marketing Project signing Fernandinho, 28, in the pecking for the Brazilian national side and Spurs are confident that they have signed the better player.

Spurs had been told earlier in the week they would have to up the ante on a bid for Paulinho, with the North London club originally hoping to pay in the region of £15m.

But with interest mounting in the player Spurs have decided to meet his release clause, which stands at £17m.

Paulinho, who scored Brazil’s equaliser against England in this month’s friendly, had said he will not make a decision until after the Confederations Cup.

Real Madrid, Inter Milan and Roma are also interested in the 15-cap international, but Spurs look to have beaten them to the signature.

Yet there is no quotes backing this up.

Hope this is true though, the guy looks like the full midfield package.

Well, I do expect Paulinho to sign for #THFC. I think deal is agreed and reported as such in Daily Telegraph tomorrow.

Re: The Blue & Yellow ITK Bonanza Thread

I listened to that. The Paulinho deal seems like it could happen. Who are our rivals for his signature?
