Football Trivia Question of the Day

My record has Segers and Lancaster as correct, Ifil and Barnard with three, and Dervite with none in the league. Not sure if Falque has more than one league appearance this season.

Adam Smith

btw, can you make up a quiz question for Rory Allen and Neal Fenn? Somehow they are my cult strike partnership

Falqué

Bold are correct, Ifil and Barnard made 3 appearances whilst Dervite made none.

Jamie Slabber Dabba Do

Correct

Adam Smith

Correct

Chris Day

Wiki says he played 1 but he didn't, he played in the Intertoto. http://www.premierleague.com/en-gb/players/profile.career-history.html/chris-day

My first guess was Jonathon Blondell but wiki says he played 2

Yep 2.

-----

Falque, Smith, Segers, Lancaster, Slabber found so far.

4 missing - 2 GKs, 1 midfielder and 1 striker

one had a good Premier League career with Birmingham and Ipswich, one is still with the club, one never made it in the PL and one left the club this pre-season.

Jamie Clapham who is a...hmm...LB? Anyway, shouldn't Intertoto count as first team too? btw, Townsend also appeared for Ipswich and Birmingham

Harry Kane?

Ben Alnwick...that 2-4 loss at Burnley!

Premier league website have him down as a midfielder, I seem to recall him being a left sided midfielder and CM as well as a left back in championship manager too ;) Also the question was about Premier League appearances, there's many other players who only ever made 1 cup appearance.

Kane and Alnwick also both correct. The last answer is Kevin Dearden (who?).

Dearden? He was a youth product and understudy to Erik the Viking and Bobby Mimms. But I thought Dearden's league appearance came before the premiership was established?

*edit* a quick wiki showed that his Spurs debut came in 1992/93 when Erik the Viking was injured...how perception could play a trick on memory
