Thats why it must be so dull to support man U, they expect to win.. Us Spurs fans have had such a mix of brickness with a smattering of success that we don't expect much. So when a big victory comes along it just means so much more to us.

Contradicted yourself there mate. Of course we were lucky. We shat on United for 45 minutes. But they were all over us in the second half. Could have easily scored more than the required 3 goals to ruin our evening. I don't recall a single decent effort on goal after Dempsey's goal. We were lucky that this time. But to me, that makes it all the sweeter. Because IMO we played better than today when we played them in March, when we lost 3-1 at home. On that day, we just couldn't stick the ball in the net, whereas the chances fell nicely for them. There have been several other occasions where this has been the case over the last 20 odd years. We did a "Chelsea" in the second half, but it was enough to win the game, which is all that matters. Is this the best I've seen us play against Man Utd? Definitely not. Is this the best result we've got against them? Absolutely yes. That's football. And the fact that they should have had two penalties makes it all the sweeter for me! \o/\o/\o/

Still buzzing. I enjoyed watching it on MotD more than I did live which was absolute fudging torture.

I had to leave the room after Bales goal and stick my head around the door at regular intervals to check the score.

I must be getting to old to be a Yid.

Blinding win and SO proud of AVB and all the players and the travelling Yids.

Did us proud.

I don't know what I'm supposed to do now.... We didn't lose at Old Trafford......., I've never experienced this emotion before... Still feel like I wan't to hate the ref and shout at SAF, but I don't have to.....

For some reason I'm not as happy as I thought I would be.. I think I still don't believe we beat them, because we never beat them...

Tomorrow I'm going to check the score just to make sure it wasn't a dream and see that we actually lost 4-3 thanks to two dodgy penalty decisions..
