Soooo, there's talk that Trump will nuke Iran before the midterms. As crazy as it sounds, the scary thing is that I don't find it implausible that he will start WW3 in order to stay in power. We'll see, I guess.

Won't happen. Will most likely bomb Iran after the midterms and set up the first clash with the Democrats if they win the houseSoooo, there's talk that Trump will nuke Iran before the midterms. So we have Binance hacks, polymarket hacks and avoided 70% of the interweb getting hacked in the last few days. Fun times.I think they're busy unravelling what gone on with the 'Trumps family' Binance account.
The internet man. Goddammit. They know brick.Talk where?
Social media, mostly, based on an interview with a guy whose name escapes me (some US politician I think) who claims to have som intel on the administration's war plans. So yeah, I know it's probably just speculation, but the midterms are coming up and the republicans are in danger of losing power, and we know Trump will go far to cling to it - hence the point being the craziness in the nuke scenario not sounding implausible.Talk where?
Sounds like nonsense to me. There was talk about MOAB a few weeks back. Probably an attempt to force Iran into some kind of agreement. He will be desperate to have something 'positive' and tangible as a win because the realities of Trump can only be blamed on Biden for so long. Hence, his desperation to somehow end the Ukraine war. All these actions are about Trump. They aren't wins for the American people. One minute the message is 'give them nothing', then it is 'here is 500 Patriots'. Either people are starting to take decisions without him or they are just desperate to try to appease any area of voters with scattergun actions. More chaos, greater cover for all the corruption.
It just depends on who he is trying to leverage. What we learned from the previous phases is that Iran will target everyone they can who supports, assists and facilitates. They will also target the money and resources in the region (with the intel and support of you know who...). They do this to exert political pressure and to ransom the markets. So the likelihood is that he is trying to put pressure on Iran, the brokers, to give him some semblance of 'victory' and to get the diesel flowing. It will have to be a claimed victory because I can't see Iran accepting anything other than showing Iran to have defended themselves against the evil Western aggressor. Should the US strike Iran again, Iran will strike their allies nearby, and they'll all lose the thing they love the most, money. You could argue that everything was an attempt at regime change, but they have so far brutally prevented that from happening. If another phase is to target civilian infrastructure, then perhaps that is designed to put pressure on the Mullahs, to place regime change back in the window, or surrender/truce. So, the threat puts pressure on the Qataris to put pressure on Iran and get them to accept survival. Let's just hope that, knowing there is a prison cell waiting for him, or a padded cell, his desperation to cling to all he has stolen and prevent his clan doesn't lead to further global imbalances. Someone is always making money; you just have to figure out who it is now and in the future. All very complicated since the orange brick gibbon came along. Here's one of the sources causing current concerns.

Unless there is some level of public game-playing being perpetrated by Murphy to try and make sure the push to the polls happens, I'd say you have to give this some credence, albeit there is so much noise it's hard to hear a tune.
