I haggle with Virgin Media every 24 months and get Sky Sports + Movies + TNT Sports + Netflix (in addition to broadband and mobile phone) for around £100 per month.

Got an annual Prime subscription for £95 on top of that.

When there’s a particular TV series I want to binge on I’ll simply get a 1 month subscription to Disney+ / HBO / Paramount+ then cancel once I’ve finished.
 
I pay for Sky, which includes Netflix and HBO Max, so I refuse to pay for TNT on top of that. You have to draw the line somewhere.

I absolutely hate the fact that sports are slowly migrating to streaming. It costs more, you have to hunt around to find the game, it often works worse, and the scores are constantly being spoiled for you.

I watched the NBA Finals on Prime, and they literally displayed the fudging score before I’d even clicked on the game. It seems almost deliberate. Netflix are just as bad for it too—they love putting spoilers in the episode summaries and ruining the storyline before you’ve even watched it.

Virgin Media threw in TNT along with Sky Sports when I haggled, so mustn’t grumble.

I fecking well hate live sports being on streaming channels too, so often their servers cannot cope with demand for major events and they end up reducing the PQ to try and get as many people online as possible which looks brick on a giant OLED telly.
 
Sky were fleecing my Mum back in the day, I'd endure their nonsense for an hour or so across a couple of calls and then after they'd made every pointless offer, I'd cancel outright. Always saying "I can get x, so if you match it, I'll stay". Mum was paying about £130. After I'd called their bluff and cancelled, I'd wait and then turn the box on. Up came a 24 month offer for everything for £39.99

With a small person, a love of footy, rugby, a need to school the small one in all things Jedi and other assorted 80s fayre it is easy to get carried away with a few monthly subscriptions here and there. Before you know it, you have Prime, Disney, Netflix, Apple TV, Paramount, TNT Sports, Now TV, Discovery/HBO and your broadband to wrestle with. Not sustainable, so I kept an old Firestick, just in case. I also can't do woeful $treams that shove a load of grot on my phone and laptop. A couple of near misses not long ago...

£30 a month for everything.
 
I had to can NOW TV for now as it was £35 Netflix, Apple (Must have been watching something on there...), Prime (Essential sadly), Disney so circa £49 Inc ChatGPT, which I love because it told me I wasn't charging enough. Must explore the Firestick fun...

I do worry about the olds ...just auto-renew all the time or are on ridiculously outdated contracts that costing them way above market rate.
