Went to The Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich yesterday to see Moby.

1) Beautiful location for an outdoor venue and it is setup really well - gig was sold out but didn't feel too busy, easy to move around and there were lots of bars spread around so you could get a drink with at most one person in front of you in the queue. Will be keeping an eye out for their lineups for next summer.

2) Moby was fantastic - Mrs bought the tickets, i wasn't particularly fussed about going but glad i did, really good show.

Saw him last night. Unreal! He didn't give the band a second either, if he was having a sip of water or wiping his face, they were still keeping the rhythm! I was exhausted after the gig, can't imagine how they were! Absolutely brilliant and I'm still buzzing!
fudge em. They got paid and they were playing with Jack White.

I just had a bit of a Moby resurgence over the last fortnight. Made a mental note to get out and see one of his shows, as supposedly impressive. That sounds bloody marvellous. Wish I'd paid more attention.

@glasgowspur

I'm having some wine and having trouble deciphering these lyrics. Can you tell me what this means...
But the broken heart it kens nae second spring again,
Though the waeful may cease frae their grieving.

kens= knows???

Yes Ken = know

But the broken heart it doesn't know second spring again,
Though the woeful may cease from their grieving

Been going back through the full Jesus & Mary Chain catalog for the first time in years.

Every single song and album is/are excellent. They are responsible for so much good music we’ve enjoyed from other bands since the late 80’s but they don’t get their full due.

Diving into Talk Talk next, a band I never got into except their couple of big hits when re-released in the 90’s.

If it’s your first time listening to Spirit of Eden and Laughing Stock, I envy you.

Enjoy!
