Transfer thread

But selling a HG English player to then big one who hasn’t set the world alight would make no sense
Just like most moves this window
I don’t think we will buy Balogun, we’ve not had any link from a reputable journalist (I.e. Ornstein) have we?

I’m merely trying to show that GB’s statement of dismissing him on physicality grounds is a bit mental when judging from a loan at the age of 20 when he got 9 starts.

I think he is a solid player
Everton are getting a better deal on him than we were quoted

Given our window I don't think we need him and I think rather than stock up on another mid range player I would rather leave it till something better and persevere with Solanke
Same. The only player I would gamble on this window for an overseas striker option would be Christian Kofane though I think Leverkusen will keep him for another year and then get £75m plus for him.

I’ve not seen a single ‘available’ option that has excited me. Of those that moved I think Watkins and Jackson might’ve improved us but both also have flaws and factors that meant we’d be unlikely to sign them.

Markets mental

75m for him, bandit country

Looks like Saudi Sportswashing Machine have signed their replacement for Woltemade…

Going to struggle this season for all the money we spent. Very little end product in our forwards.

Especially as we look pony at the back last two games. Shakey as can be . If that’s our main pairing.

Don’t really know if Ndaiye would have solved that.

Think a decent GK is a must. Kinsky good as he can be is patchy sometimes.

Fernandes is tip top. Lad looks the real deal.

Early days and all that. Just got this feeling some got little over excited at all money spent.

Just give it a minute for the team to find their rhythm. It’s more or less a new personnel. Just sit back and see where we are around xmas

Saw a gif earlier of a bunch of skill merchants playing keep-ball against a team of kids and the caption read : Savio Ndiaye Kudus v Coventry when Tottenham are 3 nil down 😂

For all the money we have spent I'm struggling to see where the goals are going to come from. Hopefully we become more solid as the players settle in to the tactics
