Next seasons squad

Have you actually watched him play?

He can play across the front line, that doesn't mean he has equal ability in every role (he doesn't).

Il take a sportsman’s bet he plays more minutes at RW for us this season than LW.

I posted an interview with him from when he joined City where he said his favoured position is right wing (but happy to play left or through middle) - he must have grown up playing right wing i guess for him to be saying that. Equally after his two years at City he may have reconsidered where he wants to plsy on the pitch
You're misremembering, he didn't say his favourite was the right. He said he likes playing on the left or right or even the centre. His best performances has been on the right, even for City when you see his most decisive moments they largely come on the left even though he mainly played on the right for them.

As someone who watched him at Girona and has been very pro this move since we were first linked with him. If our intention is to play him on the right we shouldn't have bothered buying him and he's certainly not worth £75m to us as a RW.

From an interview when he joined City

“My favourite position? I really like playing on the left and right, but I can also play in the middle. [If I had to choose], I really prefer to play on the right wing. But whatever the coach, the boss decides, I will help the team.”

So in at this point, Dubravka, Robertson, Senesi, JPVH, Tonali, Fernandes, Savio, Marmoush

8 players, probably 5 starters. Possibly one more in (Gapko?)

Only time will tell, but not sure what more could have been done? maybe a RB?

Agree about RB.

But we need a second CF (after Marmoush) and should have loaned a #10 while Simons and Kulu return (Maddison and Gallagher aren't up to it)

No, a quality right back can wait until we make Europe.

Well he plays number 10 for Ghana, but I think Kudus and Savio are the two best wingers at the club, so I would prefer one on the left and the other on the right (and Kudus is better on the right).

True but I still think we are going to sign another Winger who’s predominately a LW or a CF which means Marmoush plays more LW.

On paper it's a phenomenal transfer window! This is something we could only dream about before, and I'm honestly shocked we've actually done it! If we bring in even more, it'll be insane!

Still a lot of work to do to get a proper team out of all these fantastic players. But if De Zerbi get this knitted together as a functional unit, we might be in for a hell of a ride!
