***Tottenham Hotspur v Charlton OMT***

If we don’t win this the media are going to have an absolute field day and the pressure on Saturday’s N-ewcastle game will already be significant.

Time to record our second home win of 2026 hopefully. I reckon it will be tight. I’ll go 2-1.

When have Tottenham ever done that? We usually play the “B team” and end up being 2-0 at half time.

More that I think this is the idea in some people’s heads, lot of people online talking about ‘lower league in the cup’ as if it’s a done deal.

Any team that’s played us in the last two years knows they can beat us if they are up for it, and that will be the same tonight. That doesn’t disappear overnight, we need to make the first steps to turning it around tonight. Be up for it from the first whistle and don’t relent until the game is over. No room for complacency

We really do need to win this to get some of the fanbase back on side, Losing on Saturday was a really bad day but some of the negative comments by some of our fan base were really over the top. IMO.

By no means an easy game, decent championship competition. Beat the spammers at the weekend, this isn’t one where turn up, play the kids and roll out winners by 3 or 4.

Are a Spurs fan? Everyone knows we can put anyone out in our team a beat a championship team by 3/4 goals, we do it all the time.

You are right.
But, I can see why.
All the negativity from the last 18 months dispersed when we managed to scrape survival. We've had a really positive transfer window, spending on our no.1 targets relatively early and with a manager fans can get behind with the way he wants us to play.
Then comes Saturday and all the positivity evaporated before our eyes as the performance was as pathetic as any from last season and beyond.
The comments are more frustration and disappointment as opposed to 'we're brick and gonna be all season' imo.

Porro-----Van Hecke---Senesi-------Robertson

So no Porro until 2nd half.
Van Hecke to rb if he can play there and Danso in as cb.
Most likely be Gray rb and Fernandes cm.
