Is he going to be in the first team squad? I mean, he will have to be because of how short of players we are. I don’t know what to make of this signing. But hopefully he does well whatever that means for him.

U21 squad , it's in the Spurs website article on the signing.

We are delighted to announce the signing of James Wilson on loan from Heart of Midlothian for the remainder of the season, with an option to make the move permanent in the summer.

Joining up with our Under-21s squad, the 18-year-old striker began his career at Hearts, progressing through their academy before making his professional debut in January, 2024, at the age of 16. To date, he has made 45 senior appearances for the Scottish Premiership side, scoring eight goals.

fair play to the lad that is some strike. It was a very odd transaction all told - we didn't play him, he dropped out of league football in Scotland to play for the u21s down here and now he's gone back and we've not signed him. Then he does this.

A definite display of recruitment confusion - hopefully a thing of the past.

Saw him a few times playing for the U21's , didn't particularly stand out but then then we don't often play route one foootball hoping for a flick on but it was a great strike from distance.

I think its probably a sign of decent work, you see someone the scouts liked, you took them in for a look, it didn't work, he returned. All in all it hurt no one and the matrix went back to how it was
