That's genuinely unfair on Kevin Davies - he was really effective, terrorised defences and also did that whole putting the ball in the net thingy.

Delap is a good player, wanted him but he decided to go to Chelsea and has wasted a year.
Has good pace, good shot, can hold up the ball and is also decent in the air.
Not bad attributes for a centre forward.

Also seemed hard working. As a punt with chavs paying some his wages or a low outlay, I think RDZ might be able get his confidence back annd him firing again. Plus help refine his play. No doubt Delap can be a goal scorer, he needs the right manager and system.

I'd rather keep Richie and Solanke than have Delap. He scored 1 goal all season last season.

I think he'll be the new Steve Sidwell - rot at Chelsea and get £££££ for 4/5 years, then he'll get a move to newly promoted Hull, relegated and go back to Ipswich

I never want to see him befoul our glorious shirt after this incident. He’s a thug of a player. All physicality and not much else. A poor man’s Brobbey (who I also never want to see play for us).

Why would he get sent off more for another club than he does for Chelsea (or Ipswich before that)?

Is he really a loose canon in a regular basis or are you just basing this on his attack on Spence? I can't say I really noticed him being thuggish overall but then I also never really paid him much attention.

According to a few Chelsea fans, it's very much par for course, he comes into game, is off the pace and decides to overdo the physicality.
