Absolutely.
They were wrong BUT Tuchel thought he was winning games like that. He thought they were right...and as football is, they weren't being moaned about when winning.

Easy to say in hindsight, we needed fresh attackers and midfielders on after the England goal.

Be brave and take off the shattered stars. Replace Kane, Rice even Bellingham with fresh players who can run, close the ball down and push us forward.

They can't say Tuchel got it tactically wrong. It was the same tactics as the other games. Just against a better side it doesn't work.(Most of the time)

And tbf if we’d held out he’d have succeeded. It took a great long range shot to change the game.

but there is still supposed to be pressure, someone is always supposed to be pressing

I'm sure you could bring O'Reilly on at LB and just tell Spence to stick to Messi like glue. Probably a more effective tactic...based on the amount of times Messi has dragged them out the brick

yeah, but someone was responsible for that zone, whether they were too thick to remember or too lazy to get there, thats on that player

And they missed two sitters just beforehand, plus Pickford made a great save. It was just a matter of time

O'Reilly had been poor defensively in the tournament, I wouldn't have trusted him at the back either.
