Savinho

Do you think Nusa gets underrated because he's Norwegian then? Or is it just that his goals and assists in Germany and Belgium have never been that exceptional?
Personally, I think Nusa has a higher ceiling than Savinho, though there is no guarantee that he fulfills that potential. What he has is lovely balance, ball control and the ability to play the game, at pace, with his head up.

Said El Malia would be my number 1 pick for a new left winger if we're prepared to take a gamble on whether a player can adapt to PL football. Gakpo would be my number 2 pick as I think we need goals from the wings and Gakpo delivers goals.

Who are you referring to in the bold bit: Nusa or Savinho?

Looked poor when I have seen him, very much head down, but not seem enough of him bar that so could just be a small sample
Yeah, he's normally way better than he's shown so far in the WC, although TBF I haven't watched him much at all at club level. He'll have to up his game a few levels to be able to get past Spence, IMO. Which he is capable of, but hasn’t shown so far.

Will be interesting to see Nusa vs Premier League defenders on Saturday night

What worries me about Savio being good at Girona, is that Anthony looked good in Spain and crap at MNU

My brother supports Liverpool and is very keen for Gakpo to be sold; red flag

Hopefully RdZ makes the right call
He might just play a wonky with seven false 9s

Savior drop of from Girona to City was stark

The way he was deployed at City was markedly different though, right?
Yes. Thats where the conundrum is. Is his relative failing at City due to the system, change of play style and his instructions or is it deeper and connected to the differences between the leagues? I think its more of the former than the latter, as i've seen dozens of skillful players successfully translate from other leagues.

Its primarily being deployed at RW when he's a LW

Id be happy with the Savinho & Leao signings if they happen together. But if its one of the other id rather aim higher.
Why have 6 LWs (also Tel, Odobert, Moore, LWB), yet no competent CFs?

Surely if we sign 2 more players, one needs to be a CF (e.g Kroupi)

Tel is a #9 long term. Odobert is out until January and I don't rate him anyway. Moore is leaving on loan. LWB unfortunately may never make a serious inprint of the 1st XI.

We have more ‘ready’ CFs than LWs….

Odobert out with an ACL, Moore not close to being ready for PL, LWB even further away. Tel being borderline ready.

At CF we have 2 x ready now players in Solanke and Richarlison and Lankshear who is closer to being ready for PL football than Moore and LWB are for the LW spot.
