Possible ..

but the thing is, Saudi Sportswashing Machine & West Ham need to get money into their books by June 30th in order for it to affect the year re PSR/SCR, so if City (Tonali) and United (Fernandes) fudge around, they could easily lose out.

In West Ham’s case they have loan payments due so they need the actual cash as well. Seems we can pay more upfront.

Have any of you heard of Oulai? Plays for Ivory Coast and I've seen a few people tip him as a real star for the future, looked good the other day as well. Looks like Barca are sniffing already.

He really stood out to me, when I watched the WC game a couple of days ago. Very impressive indeed.
The other player that stood out was the left winger Diomande, I've never seen him play before and he was absolutely awful!

Does awful mean very good or very bad, I don't speak or understand modern lingo?

I'm not sure of either Gakpo or Savinho, Gakpo looks to offer more of a goal threat and I've not seen much of Savinho but it seems a lot of money for someone who's not in the starting line up.

Savinho didn't make the Brazil squad, damming in itself seeing as they look pretty weak. I just checked his wiki, doesn't look like he scores many goals - we need more goal scoring midfielders.

Stood out because he was awful? I thought he was decent, he's tipped to move to Liverpool I think for big money.

He is very raw but has lots of potential upside. Liverpool can afford to take the gamble whereas I don’t think we can.

IMO Said El Malia would be the best LW signing we could make if looking to the Bundesliga.

Though I’d be delighted with Gakpo as a PL proven player if those links happen to be true.

Savino is more a creator, it's his assists stats you need to look at. Last season was poor, but the previous two seasons (PL & La Liga) he has double figures in assists while being under 21.

Technically good player, holds the ball well, provides mainly assists but can chip in with a goal and is 22. Better than anything we have at the moment on LW.

The Gapko rumours worry me, because he's almost the opposite profile, again I'll back the manager but when the targets seem vastly different it's concerning re vision/strategy.

Or maybe we want both and Tel is going be used at CF? Kudus and Kulu on the right are quite different profiles from each other.

I must be blind, I've seen nothing to suggest Tel will ever be a player to lead the line.

Do you need to lead the line in a high possession side? I thought it was more about finding space and a bit of acceleration to be able to get a shot away

Kroupi at Bournemouth isn't a line leader, but he's very effective in our sort of system.

You've seen this in Tel? There are some who can but I've not seen it in his game or that he's a good finisher.

Sounds good, between him and Tel we'd have a good range of options in terms of style and with Kudus on the right

Bad. Watch this 1 minute video of every touch he had in the game vs Germany. He gets one cross across the box, which leads to the goal, everything else he does fails. Every dribble, every touch, every shot.

He might grow into a GOAT, but he did not have a good game vs Germany.
