After the way he was treated, by the ownership and the fans, he could be forgiven for selling to whoever had the money.
I agree. We will certainly find out the longer term ramifications of how we dealt with him...

I think he sold 25% of ENIC, and he started off with almost 30% so he now has 5% of ENIC but I am not at all sure. Not sure if it's clear but is the rumour he sold all his stake or 25% of his 25%?
Why they couldn’t have left him in place and just said, you are in charge of the sponsorship, the running of the club off of the pitch and all the other money making strategies that doesn’t involve transfers is beyond me. Would have worked well for him.
A very simple google search will provide plenty of links.Widely reported by who?
Weird how Enic and the club has effectively denied it, you would think they would know if their shares were soldI'm surprised that the Lewis's don't have first refusal on Levy's shares and vice versa, would be fairly standard practice at least for the Lewis side to be able to buy Levy out as they're majority owners.
They very possibly had a succession plan in place with Paratici taking over negotiations starting in the Jan window.I think that would have the potential to make more sense.
On transfers ....pre window they probably looked at VV and Lange and thought 'maybe we still need DL for negotiation' ...thinking about it who else was going to do it? ....(Paratici ?)
I trust ENIC’s word over that dodgy af investment fund’s.Weird how Enic and the club has effectively denied it, you would think they would know if their shares were sold

I believe Vinai got hired by lewis family to understudy Levy before sacking him. I prefer to juicy version. We know Daniel was involved in the appointment of Frank and the move for Gibbs-White and iirc the negotiations for Savio so it's not like he knew his time was up and wasn't involved. It does make sense that the Lewis' had an inclination as to what they were going to do, but I don't believe Levy was in on that plan. Vinai himself may not have known the ultimate plan was to remove Levy as soon as they did, it's very possible that he believes he was hired for a gradual handover, but the Lewis' based on their investigation / thinking they could do better without Levy hastened the move.
