Now it's probably not true, but Woltemade is my favourite player in the PL not at Spurs. He hasn't scored much (only started 23 matches, and GHod knows why but often played as an attacking midfielder), but you can just tell from his touch and finishing that he has something extra.

Anyone else rate him?

Looked better than Solanke every time I've seen him.
 
Find it a bit concerning that we’re so heavily linked and almost confirming the signings of a handful of players, while making decisions about who will be sold/loaned when the Cheif Football Officer and Director of Football have not started working yet and RDZ has been solely focused on keeping us up. Plus all the players were linked with were targets under Frank.

not too much to worry about, pretty much every manager in the league would want those players.

Wonder how many players we will be linked with this window? Usually gets up to about 40 in the summer window. We must be click baiters dream audience.
I think with so many players at World Cup it's not going to be easy.

We need to sign a GK, LB, CB, CM, LW, CF and maybe another AM. I have no issue with 4/7 of those being top level expirienced players.
 
I’d be happy with Senesi, Robertson and Savinho. Various levels of proven experience and quality.

I’m also not concerned about RDZ not wanting them. I think at this level, a player deciding to move to a club, and a club showing consistent interest, is a good thing that encourages the deal to get over the line.

He will want those players.

Personally, I don't think either will be big difference makers to Spurs.

I think you called out a player that perhaps could though. That is Ndiaye.

Last season I called out Joao Gomes as one that would have made a massive difference to Spurs. I still stand by that.

Zero chance RDZ hasn't been involved (his pressers are for benefit of players as well, "we need to concentrate on next game" stuff)

Also zero chance RDZ didn't see the list of players on shortlist for summer before he joined, and would have had an opinion and say.

The two months would have allowed him to refine his opinion on team/gaps, but most clubs start work long before window opens.

On joining a club it seems just regular practice for the new manager and the scouting department to have a word and say we've already got these guys earmarked with a very good chance of signing them if you want. Do you give the green light for us to continue?
