Apart from the Madrid game, he's looked fine.
A few shaky moments, and his shot stopping needs improving - but he looks like a decent keeper with a lot of scope for development

him playing the ball on the ground with the defenders is also very assuring

i don't see how vic is better than kinsk if we continue to play dezerbiball

You realise its a corner and the team taking are 1-0 down? He was never going to blow the whistle before that corner was taken and any time wasted he would have added on.

He is weak at shots from distance as he doesn’t get down quick or well
Outside of that he is good
Brilliant with his feet though
It’s his place now to keep imo

At least get the physio on, kill the momentum, let your defence get set.

It’s basics.
 
Kinsky had one bad game. Both were moments under pressure under a suspect pitch condition.

In the past he has shown that he is good at crosses, good with the ball at his feet. But he also let in some suspect shots close to his body away at scum and villa. He needs to work on that if he hasn't been already as that's over a year ago. He has the qualities to be a good keeper and is still very young.

I think the weakness is either timing or positioning re; his ability to make saves.
One on one he's solid.
Situations where he controls his starting position (corner, free kick) he's good.
It's shots when the ball is moved that are the weakness - that can be coached

Well yes that's my thinking. My preference is signing a new No1 but if Kinsky can keep saving shots between now and the end of the season maybe he can earn the spot.

I'm not yet ready to crown him as the no1 because well frankly he's been pretty poor imo up till now. His lack of shot saving is like the bare minimum I require. 😅 But hey he made a save and a very important one at an important stage and I can't ask for more than that.
