Who’d have thought that assembling a lopsided squad with journeymen who’ve consistently failed to live up to their early potential whilst flip-flopping between managers who have completely different philosophies would result in such a negative spiral…
 
Watched the Forest game, they were worthy of their point. Some good players and attack well on the break. A bit like West Ham, they look in far better form than us. Tomorrow is huge.

As for City, so flaky this season. No chance they catch the goons.
 
People at work keep telling me to stop panicing we wont go down, they cant see it happening.

I am not really sure what they are seeing that I am not, because from what i have witnessed since the start of the year we are only heading one way, and its pointing in the direction of Preston, Stoke and Sheffield.
 
We’ve had the chance to get ourselves out of it whilst a few points clear, I don’t trust any of our players currently available to have the guts or personality to get themselves out of this when there’s only a point or so in it. If we lose to Palace and Liverpool with West Ham and/or Forest going past us, I think our lot will just give up personally.

Richarlison the only player we have that even looks like he cares.

Something like tonight was always going to happen. West Ham and Forest have looked reasonably good recently relative to their positions. Nothing has changed for us.

We have to win. And then we’ve to win 2-3 more games after that. We’re good enough to do it but have to show it.

If we win tomorrow, we leapfrog Leeds and are effectively 5 points ahead of Forest and West Ham.

It’s a home game v a Palace side who are a bit of a mess themselves. We lose and we deserve what we get. I think we’ll do it and be okay. Time to stand up and be counted.

I totally agree. The minute we drop into the bottom three, we stay there.

Might sound daft, but if we do fall into the bottom three and I even be tempted to see if a few of the young lads might be worth a try, they could not do any worse
