It's definitely wrong as he's played more than 30 games per season all 5 seasons he's been here save last (26) and this (28 to date). So that's well over 50% (probably much more as we've been poor in the cups and had seasons out of Europe) he's played in and others he will have been rested/rotated.

Defo BS, these are the league games appearances:
21/22 = 22 58%
22/23 = 27 71%
23/24 = 33 87%
24/25 = 18 47% (though Ange rested him in 2nd half of that season, he was available for the most part)
25/26 = 21 81%
Even so you’d still hope for better numbers..

Oh come on @Mikey10 you're better than this. That is not what was said.
Marcus Buckland is always misinformed and has no clue what is really going on.
He says "someone told me and I have no idea if this is true but apparently Romero has only been available..." i.e. it is a lie.
Don't spread lies, don't spread misinformation, don't create rifts in the fanbase that need not exist, don't propagate the narrative that Romero only turns up for Argentina.
Come on people, we're better than this, this isn't Reddit or TFC.
By the way, someone told me and I have no idea if this is true but apparently VdV has only been available for 3% of all Spurs matches since he came to the club, and he also hates animals.

BTW I am still amused that few have commented on the ref cam view of that Old Trafford sending off, which if nothing else shows that Oliver could not WAIT to show him the red. He'd virtually given it as it happened even though his angle and sight line showed two people clashing on the ball. I am convinced Oliver was influenced by the Chelsea game two seasons prior where he sent Romero off, and simply assumed it was the same challenge when it was different.
As for the 'argument' that because of his 'reputation' he deserved it and cannot argue, WALOB!
Finally, if ever we saw Frank bottle it then it was here. Meek, contrite, passive. So poor...anyway, cannot WAIT to get our skipper back!

He barely played last season, who is to say how good or bad his disciplinary record might have been if he featured in more League games.

He played 18 in the league last season, so half. I don't know that we can draw much in terms of his disciplinary record with only half the games played. He wasn't feeling the weekly pressure, he wasn't the guy who had to get the troops moving etc.

I'd need to see the breakdown of which games, but it wasn't as though he only played every other game right? There'd have been intense consecutive periods both of playing and of absence.
