Politics, politics, politics (so long and thanks for all the fish)

Wasn’t the decision to lift the two child cap really poorly recieved?
Mixed I would say.

Does wonders for promises on child poverty, opens up people moaning on fairness of distribution and "why should I work all my life for....."

Not sure taxing people for not having kids is the answer to contrary politics though, sends a fairly weird message

Yeh tbh when I read that I thought why not just say you want to increase the child tax credit. Then read removing the cap was unpopular.

When Yang was talking about UBI I saw a Caregiver CBI being discussed which I think is a great idea. Mums or people caring for elderly parents. Takes that completion out of the workplace and the care to those people is typically at the taxpayers expense.

Likewise. The parody Nigel Farage account is a good one. As was the parody Boris Johnson one. Thinks there’s a Keir Starmer one as well.

As well as the above there have been comments about him fleeing for his and his family’s safety… to his known home in Spain, whilst posting photos of him at said home. Not very security conscious.
But please do feel free to contribute to his safety fund.
The grift has to keep grifting to survive.

Unreal levels of grifting.

I don't usually post in this thread, because reasons.

But when debating who people will vote for and why...

...you need to appreciate just how THICK a lot of people are.

Incredibly thick. The kind of thick that you would think is a parody. Thicker than granite.
