Ginola or Bale

Has to be Bale for me.
Ginola was what I call a proper Tottenham Hotspur superstar. Like Hoddle, Gazza, Ardilles, King. All skill and grace and loved. Head and shoulders above everyone on the pitch. Creating the identity of what Tottenham Hotspur has always been.

But Bale was a machine, and had everything they all had and more...and consistency. Bale was a monster player a Ferrari. The others were Rolls Royces.

Some people prefer a Rolls over a Ferrari, and others prefer Ferrari over a Rolls. It's all down to personal taste.

Gazza was probably the greatest footballer of the lot, but he had demons.

That's my opinion.

Ginola wasn’t a great player, that is why Spurs were pretty much the biggest club he played for. Bale on the other hand went to the biggest club in the world for a work record fee.

Not at any time when he was a Spurs player.... not even close

Na just the PFA and FWA player of the year in a season he was utterly off the scale for us. Not the best then but for two seasons at PSG he was considered one of the best in the world, especially in their run to the EC Semi Final

He was utterly ridiculous that year for us, we were a poor team that opposition knew just had to focus on keeping Ginola quiet yet he still rang rings round everyone even though double marked half the time.

I have no knowledge about other league's players in that period, but he must of been near the pinnacle that year and doing it in such a poor side aswell. Of course Bale was consistently better and the more complete player but that season Ginola was something else for us....

Bale was clear when all said and done, by Ginola def shone bright for a couple of years. I watched the Documentary on Sky and the Saudi Sportswashing Machine players were saying just how ridiculous he was that year too. People call him a luxury player and throw loads of lazy troupes at him, he was far better than just that.

I think the difference was that Bale produced the magic whoever we played against including the likes of the Arse, Manure, Inter etc; plus he almost dragged us singlehandedly into a champions league place. Ginola's excellence was rarely if ever seen against the better teams - the Wembley final is a case in point.

Not saying he wasn't exciting but no comparison to the giant that was Bale - especially in his last season.

I am not sure thats completely true, I saw him dominate a great United side, Chelsea at times, yes he was less than brilliant in that final, but he was one of the reasons we made that final.

I have said all along that Bale was clear, I am just giving props to someone who also deserves it brother

Yet Ferguson said that most of his players voted for Ginola to win the award....
