Id rather go into next season with a better Goalkeeper and Solanke & Tel are the CF options.
....And I see Romero as a better partner and mentor for Vuskovic than VDV....

Same. In any team you have to address your absolute weakest component first. That is the keeper. He is appalling at dealing with crosses and poor with the ball at his feet. Making a few good saves doesn't make up for his poor attributes (every keeper makes a few good saves).
Keepers also tend to be cheaper than attacking players. The one I listed as the best possible choice that I think we could go for is a superb keeper but would still probably only cost £40m
He is an 21 year old thats already a full international starting games in the Bundesliga.

IMO it would make perfect sense for us to loan him out against next year. It is all really good experience at his age. At the very least he is likely to increase his resale value.
If we went and got a truly top tier goalkeeper the fans would be amazed by what a difference he would make to the team. Mike Maignan avalible on a free transfer from Milan. If your ambitious as a board you go and pay him £250k knowing you can offset that by getting £50M+ in for Vicario and Kinsky.
Even ter Stegan for 2 seasons would be a huge upgrade.
It would make sense for us to loan out a lot of our players. But Tel brings more positives to the team than Vicario does at this point.

Issue with the squad is not that these are bad players. It’s that we’re are weak in some areas and heavy in others.
At left wing we have Tel, Odobert, Moore, W.Barnett and Xavi Simons capable of playing there.
At #8 we have Gallagher, Bentancur, Bergvall, Gray, Sarr all under contract until 2029. All players for the most part we like at least as a backup.

I'll be really dissapointed if we don't sell the 8 or so players that ive seen nominated and replace them with far better players in next window, it should be easy to complete 16 or so deals

The problem is injuries not the squad, considering Brentford and Sunderland are in the last 2 European spots, we would be expected to walk that.
To me,
- LB is a weak point due to Udogie's fitness and Souza is unlikely to be ready
- Obvious upgrades are GK, 2nd CF to compete with Solanke
- Outside of that, it's where can you truly find an elite upgrade that walks into first team (LW/CM?)
The best thing the club can do right now is focus on getting as close to the full squad fit to start next season, if we walk into next season like this one, with 6 players already injured, the cycle will repeat.

I feel the same when I read a lot of transfer stuff on here.
