He's a bargain at that price, English and at an age where he is young yet still plenty of years experience and seasons left in him. Always thought he is solid yet unspectacular but have a feeling he's going to be better than expected.

I love the fact that we've gone out and bought ourselves an oven ready number who can go straight into the first team with no PL adaptation required. Not only that but signed a number 8 who is a clear first choice being better than the number 8s at the club already.

We've been crying out for midfield reinforcement for years now. He's no Modric but who is! Akliouche? Under the circumstances he's a great signing. We have the makings of a decent defence, but need a solid midfield infront of it. Palhinha and Gallagah supported by Sarr and Gray should give us that.
Some signs second half against villa that Tel, Xavi, Odobert have some chemistry and interchange. With that strong midfield behind them, it should help to galvanise the side.
