Key Attributes That Define Paqueta’s Game

As an attacking midfielder, Paqueta stands out for his creativity, style, and smart play. These skills help him succeed in tough leagues around the world. His first touch is perfect. He can take the ball under pressure and instantly control it. Paqueta has great close control and quick feet. He can move through tight spots, easily dodging opponents with speed and skill.

Also, Paqueta has outstanding awareness on the field. He can read the game well and spot trouble before it happens. He makes fast decisions that show his exceptional vision. This helps him control the game, passing the ball accurately. He can unlock tough defences with his precise distribution.

In short, Paqueta’s mix of skills, game sense, and creativity makes him a top modern attacking midfielder. He shows these amazing traits whether he plays for West Ham United in the Premier League or for the Brazilian national team, especially amidst pending developments related to an FA hearing.

The Role of Creativity and Flair in His Performances

Lucas Paqueta comes from the football-loving city of Rio de Janeiro. He shows the creativity and style that are hallmarks of Brazilian football, often highlighted in coverage by ESPN. His unique ability to create magical moments sets him apart and delights fans around the world. Paqueta’s impressive flicks, no-look passes, and amazing dribbling skills show his natural gift and hard work.

These skills have made him a favorite among fans at every club he has played for, including his time at Aston Villa and Bournemouth. He started at Flamengo and then played in Serie A with AC Milan in Italy, Ligue 1 with Lyon, and is now in the Premier League with West Ham. His creative play has always stood out.

When representing the Brazilian national team, Paqueta’s flair adds an extra element to their strong attacking lineup against England. His skill to create chances keeps defenders on their toes and makes him very important for both his club and his country.

Technical Skills That Set Paqueta Apart

It’s not just Paqueta’s offence that makes him special; his skills are key to his success. His great control of the ball, accurate passing, and ability to take the ball in small spaces make him a well-rounded midfielder. Defenders often struggle against his quick feet and body moves, showing his high level of skill.

Paqueta’s technical skills help him adapt to the fast-paced Premier League. Along with his confidence and coolness on the ball, he is an important part of West Ham United’s midfield, especially when facing teams like Leeds United in June. He controls the game and makes an impact from one end of the field to the other.

I would love it if we signed Paqueta. He has flair but with grit to it. He’s very technical, more so than many generally give credit for. I think he would be a great 8 for us. And if we could sign him for the reported price of lower than £30m then that would be a pure bargain.

I watched a video of his highlights, then watched a video of Bentancurs highlights, looked like the same player but in a different shirt.

There's no doubt Paqueta has multiple abilities and can stand out in a game.

BUT there's something 'off' with him for me. I'd steer clear, even at a tempting price.
Even if just for his footballing ability - He has technical talent, but inconsistent to say the least. I know various West Ham fans frustrated with him, just like with Kudus and you can see why that was.

Considering many are complaining about the level of our players, I'm not sure continuously recruiting players from a team worse than ours is the way to go. There is only one player truly worth signing from that team and it isn't Paqueta.....

Bowen has only scored two more goals than Paqueta with same number of assists. I think the issue is West Ham and the rest of the team plus their overall form this season.

Kudus has lived with the issue of being our main outlet. He gets double marked, triple marked, and we hoof it to him and expect him to do something. We need our other attacking players to be fully firing and then the opposition can’t afford to be giving the same cover to Kudus. I think he’s been good for us but think there is more to come.

Going back to West Ham, of course their supporters will criticise Paqueta. Just look at our supporters criticising almost every one of our players this season. I’ve seen it said that we don’t even have any top six level players which is laughable. Supporters will get at their own players, criticise them, and often the higher the profile of player, the more they get criticised as they are more under the spotlight.

We aren't just talking about this seasons' stats, he has been there for seasons and for a creative player he has 8 assists in 3 seasons in the league. He doesn't impose himself on games, and for all the things he can do well he spends a lot of time doing flicks that don't come off and does his fair amount of rolling around the floor. West Ham's fans criticised Kudus for constantly being greedy and not releasing the ball quick enough, and that criticism is spot on.

Anyway, its a pointless debate. West Ham ITKs have said he wants to go back to Brazil, it's not happening....

Would any ambitious player at a club who haven’t been in a negative spiral for half a decade want to join our brickshow and get booed off the pitch every week after playing 90 minutes in the horseshoe-of-death though?!

Guess we just have to hope that money talks and as one of the richest clubs in the world we might find someone willing to swap cheers for jeers!

Was about to sign for City before his charges.

Yes.
Over two years ago he was a player that Emirates Marketing Project were ready to drop £80 million+ on.
But how close is he now to still being that player? Or becoming it again when he leaves his present toxic setting...to be welcomed by a loving and patient fanbase.

Forgetting about the fact City have made plenty of signings that have not delivered, they can afford a luxury player far more than we can.

It's a moot point anyway as this transfer is not happening, but we have plenty of players who pick and choose when they fancy turning up already.....

What kind of midfielder do we need? Someone able to pass well, and with some defensive bite. I thought Bentancur had really turned a corner. Talk about being kicked when you're down. We were already light in midfield. Now we're playing a second string in midfield as well as in attack. At least Solanke is back fit.Small mercies.
