It should be a free hit, as long as there are signs of progress. A long pre-season to get your methods embedded. Xavi (Hernandez) is twiddling his thumbs at the moment; Poch too.

Most of the current squad just won the the 2nd most prestigious trophy in Europe the Europa League , why is it different, can't remember where but it was on some football commentary the other day , players and agents will sign up to whoever offers the most money regardless of coach or owners.
 
I like Bobb, but he's not someone who's going to improve our team, in my opinion. And with my Norwegian glasses on: I hope he goes to Dortmund to get game time for a decent team before the WC.

After a year out with a major break like that, he probably needs to drop down a level to see if he can recover fully

not sounds of players asking out like dragusin and tel, but also vultures like barca trying to stir up vdv (i guess tapping up players is no longer illegal in the ear of social media)

Back when we were regularly in the top 5 and looked to be on the cusp of joining that handful of elite clubs who can pretty much guarantee a player some winners medals then that might’ve been a factor but no top drawer player is going to leap at the chance to sign for a club which has won just 1 piece of silverware in their living memory; especially after we immediately sacked the manager who lead us to said trophy and sold the iconic captain of that team.

Hopefully your’re right about wages being the deciding factor and we can use our financial clout to sign a couple of players who will immediately elevate our team, just as Kulusevski and Bentancur did for Conte back in January of 2022.
