Tottenham Hotspur Women

My 10 year old daughter has never been to a game before. She wanted to go to a men's match but with the toxic atmosphere at the moment, booing our own team etc it might put her off for life. So instead I'm taking her to the Spurs Chelsea ladies game at our ground next month.

Quite looking forward to it as I've never been to a a women's game before and should be a nice and less stressful day out!

Thankyou! I must say I haven't followed the league that closely but might start to now, especially if my daughter gets properly into it. I see we are 4 points behind Chelsea. Has this been a pretty decent season for us by usual standards?

It’s a team on the up and absolutely a great time to get involved in it. Far more enjoyment for what it is, rather than expectation and toxicity.

Hope your daughter gets hooked, and I can see you too becoming hooked after seeing the enjoyment it gives her.

Cheers mate. That's what I'm hoping for.

It will be nice to be at a game and just enjoy the footballwithout the negative atmosphere, the groans every time a player makes a mistake. The screaming abuse at your own players.. The booing. It's all so toxic and it's putting me off going.

We have definitely improved new manager & new ideas have helped. From what I have seen which isn't much we are heading in the right direction. You will find a completely different atmosphere at a women's game which will be perfect for your daughter. Hope you both enjoy yourselves
